Hi, I’m Salma. I’m a UX and Design Lecturer.

I have over 10 years’ experience of leading and conducting user research across the public sector, alongside academic research experience in healthcare. My work has focused on establishing successful user research functions by developing and leading inclusive user research teams, projects and operations.

I currently teach UX and design in higher education. Previously, I held senior user research roles across the public sector, including Head of User Research at Ofsted, where I established a new user research function and team, and Head of User Research Operations within the NHS and Department of Health and Social Care.

I write about user research, UX, design, education and other topics that interest me.
